The T955 Tier III Commander tractor is powered by a 415 hp (309 kW) Caterpillar C-13 electronic engine and when coupled with the Vermeer Terrain Leveler Surface Excavation attachment can cut an area up to 11 feet (3.4 m) wide and 32 inches (81.2 cm) deep in a single pass.
